✨ Last night, I made beef meat stock for Stella with 2 beef marrow bones and 1 oxtail. ? This nourishing stock is packed with amazing benefits for her! ? Beef meat stock is gentle on tiny tummies and is rich in minerals like calcium, magnesium, and phosphorus, essential for growing bones. It’s also full of collagen, which supports gut health and helps build a strong digestive system. ?✨ The gelatin in the stock aids in digestion and can soothe any gut inflammation, ensuring baby gets the best nutrients in an easy-to-digest form. ? Meat stock also heals and seals the gut lining, fighting leaky gut syndrome which can even occur in babies! ?I use the stock to mix into other purees and rotate fats for her to have in her stock which she eats daily! I am also loving these glass jars by KeaBabies they are perfect portions to freeze for 1-2 days of meat stock goodness (I’ll put my amazon affiliated link in my bio)! Making homemade stock is a simple way to provide her with the best nutrition. Have you tried making your own baby food? ✨ After having my baby Stella and seeing her skin develop dry patches around 3 months, I knew something was off. I thought I ate pretty well during pregnancy, I took my vitamins, and thought I did my research on how to take care of myself. I read that if a mom takes a probiotic during pregnancy, it could virtually remove all risk of eczema... but there’s more to that story. I took a probiotic, but it was the WRONG one for what I needed to pass down to my baby. I had no idea about the diversity of healthy bacteria in the gut ? After months of research, gut testing from @tiny.health , reading books, and getting Stella on an ancestral healing diet, her skin is finally looking amazing! ?✨ She still has very sensitive skin and mildly reacts to foods, but with more healing from my diet, breastmilk, and her healing solid food journey, we’re on the road to success. Did you know the first 1,000 days matter most in a child’s life? ?️ You can literally determine their health for life, so it’s SO important to take care of your kids gut health when they are babies. Give them healthy, organic food and if they have skin issues or allergies, recognize something is off and there are many ways to fix it. I'll be sharing more along the way? Cheryl Sew Hoy of TinyHealth had a recent interview on the Wellness+Wisdom podcast. If you’re a mommy or trying to get pregnant, it’s worth a listen! ? Stay tuned for more tips on fixing my and my baby’s gut microbiome and how you can incorporate it into your life. Those first 1,000 days are key because your child’s gut is malleable until then. ? If you want $20 off a TinyHealth kit, comment below and I’ll send you a special code. What have you been reading or watching about gut health? Let me know in the comments.
