There's a wealth of misinformation circulating about the COVID-19 vaccines, and a gay British doctor is determined to get the truth out... by posting dance videos to TikTok. Dr. Mark Perera decided the best way to disprove the bogus claims people see on social media about the vaccine (everything from "X Files"-type accusations that governments are trying to implant microchips in people under cover of the shots to baseless stories of medical personnel dying after receiving the injections) was to post a series of videos over the course of several days showing how fit and healthy he remained. The filmed version of David Pevsner's one-man show, "Musical Comedy Whore," is indeed a musical, with original songs written or co-written by Pevsner (with the exception of one number). It's a comedy that is sure to have viewers laughing out loud. As for the "whore" part, Pevsner goes into great detail about his sexual exploits, including his time as a male escort. But there's a spark of light for same-sex Lithuanian families in a civil unions bill that might pass next year, Reuters reports. Though the Lithuanian constitution puts marriage equality out of reach for gay and lesbian couples, Tomas Raskevicius - "the country's only openly LGBT+ lawmaker," Reuters notes - told the news outlet that he and other pro-equality lawmakers are planning to submit the bill" allowing civil unions "in the spring session in March." Raskevicius went on to say, "There are some members of the (majority Homeland Union party) who have already declared they are not going to vote for it, so we're going to look for some additional votes from the opposition, but I think we should be fine," Reuters reported. Atlanta has begun the process of designating a gay bar as a historic landmark, Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms says. That would make the Atlanta Eagle the first recognized and protected LGBTQ landmark in the Deep South, local historians with Historic Atlanta told WXIA-TV. The bar has been an integral part of Atlanta's cultural and social landscape for three decades and helped bring about policy changes and cultural improvements between the LGBTQ community and city of Atlanta, Bottoms said in her announcement Thursday. "The Atlanta Eagle has a rich history and is a beloved place for so many people in Atlanta and across the world," she said. Police are investigating the vandalization of a gay couple's Christmas decorations, Lost Coast Outpost reports. The Eureka, Cal. couple had two gingerbread men holding hands and a Pride flag in their front yard. The handmade gingerbread men had been ripped out of the ground, smeared with feces, and left beneath the Pride flag. Brian Kleinmeyer, one half of the gay couple, said "They literally ripped them out of the ground, and wiped their asses with them, and carefully laid them at the base of our Pride Flag. I thought things might get stolen, but never in a million years did I think this would happen. I'm completely in shock."
