At 540 E. Monroe St., a century-old building has been reimagined as @warbler.coffee , a specialty café serving bold drinks and fresh ideas. Formerly Layton’s Grocer & Arms, the space has been thoughtfully restored to honor its past while serving as a welcoming spot for modern-day coffee lovers. Thanks to BCIC’s eBridge Fund support, founder Omar Garza overcame the challenges of restoring this historic site. “The funding was pivotal in bringing our Café to life,” Garza said. Warbler’s menu goes beyond the ordinary, with offerings like the Early Bird (cold brew with orange juice and agave) and the Bee’s Knees (cold brew with lemonade and local honey). BCIC’s economic data shows they’ve welcomed more than 21,000 visitors since opening! Read the full story. Link inbio.
