TIP NA VÁNOČNÍ DÁREK PRO TANEČNÍKY 🎁 Vánoce se blíží, takže je ideální čas na to dát si pár tipů na ideální vánoční dárek pro tanečníky. Co by každý tanečník nebo každá tanečnice chtěl/a najít pod stromečkem? 🎄 Tady je tip č. 3: SLUCHÁTKA 🎧 Hudba je pro tanečníky základ a je určitě vhodné, pokud k ní mají dobrý přístup. A to nejen doma, ale i na cestách. K tomu jsou vhodná sluchátka, kterých existuje opravdu velké množství. Proto je určitě vhodné se před jejich koupí zamyslet. ❓ Které otázky je potřeba si položit před tím, než sluchátka pořídíte jako dárek pro tanečníka nebo tanečnici třeba na Vánoce? Určitě se zamysli nad těmito věcmi: Jak často je bude používat? Kde je bude používat (venku, doma)? Bude s nimi tancovat? Kde je bude nosit, když sluchátka zrovna nebude používat? 👉 Tzv. špunty, příp. pecky jsou velmi skladné a často nejlevnější variantou sluchátek. Nehodí se však na dlouhodobé nošení, protože příliš zatěžují uši. Sluchátka s týlním mostem nezavazí na hlavě, takže jsou výborné třeba v zimě, kdy se nosí čepice. Hudebně ale většinou patří k těm horším. Klasická sluchátka přes hlavu jsou určitě nejpohodlnější a poskytují nejkvalitnější zvuk, ale zase ne s každým typem se dá hýbat (tancovat). Rizikem jsou především větší sluchátka. 👉 Ve většině případů asi před klasickými kabelovými upřednostníš bluetooth sluchátka, a to i za cenu ztráty kvality zvuku při přenosu signálu. Na domácí použití jsou proto vhodnější rádiová sluchátka. Zvuk je mnohem kvalitnější, ale základna musí být zapojena v zásuvce elektrické sítě. Out wrestler Anthony Bowens took to social media this week to share a photo of himself locking lips with his boyfriend Michael Pavano — but what makes the snap noteworthy is that it takes place in front of a crowd of anti-LGBTQ+ protestors, who are seen holding homophobic signs. "Trump make America great again: ban homo marriage," one sign in all-caps reads. "Homos go to hell. Repent. Obey Jesus," another sign says. Captioning the pic on Twitter, Bowens wrote "#Standup to hate," tagging Pavano, GLAAD, and the Human Rights Campaign. Sharing the same post on Instagram, Pavano, a YouTuber, commented "I love you forever & always." Bowens came out in 2017 as bisexual and later came out as gay and often speaks out in support of LGBTQ+ causes. In 2019 he was interviewed by Sports Illustrated, opening up about how he represents the LGBTQ+ community. Steve Bronski, the out musician and co-founder of gay pop trio Bronski Beat, has died at age 61, BBC News reported. "Bronski, from Glasgow, was born Steve Forrest and formed the group in 1983 with singer Jimmy Somerville and fellow-musician Larry Steinbachek," the BBC recalled. "They enjoyed UK top 10 hits with the gay anthem 'Smalltown Boy,' 'Why?,' and a cover of Donna Summer's 'I Feel Love.' " "All three members of the band were out as gay and sought to counter what they perceived as the inoffensive nature of the era's gay performers by embracing explicitly political themes in their music," noted UK newspaper the Guardian. "America's Spin magazine described them as 'perhaps the first real gay group in the history of pop'." "Bronski Beat's debut single, 1984's 'Smalltown Boy,' tells the story of a gay teenager leaving his family and prejudice in his hometown for an uncertain life in London," the Guardian added. "The record's inner groove was etched with the number of the London Gay Switchboard." "The trio's debut album, 'The Age of Consent,' also released in 1984, listed the ages of consent for gay sex in countries around the world," the Guardian detailed. Built in the 80s, Athol says he wouldn't have looked twice at the "sandstock-y, bricky-looking thing" if his daughter didn't live right next door! BATTLE OF THE YEAR V JAPONSKU I další světoznámá taneční akce se pro rok 2022 stěhuje z Evropy, a to konkrétně do Japonska. Původně německá akce se v posledních letech konala ve Francii. Letos si z Montpellier celkové vítězství odvezla jihokorejská Jinjo Crew. RED BULL DANCE YOUR STYLE SE RUŠÍ Finále dalšího velmi významného mezinárodního eventu bylo kvůli pandemii COVID-19 zrušeno. Jedná se o akci Red Bull Dance Your Style, ve které před dvěma lety doslova zazářil český tanečník Mr. Kriss. Letošní finále se mělo konat v jihoafrického Johanessburgu. The reality series has been in the works since last spring when its subject, former "Bachelor" contestant Colton Underwood, came out on "Good Morning America." It appears that a Norwegian ad featuring a daddy kissing Santa Claus has upset some, claiming that it sexualizes Christmas. The four-minute video, released by Posten, the country's postal service, features a frustrated Santa Claus who is unable to spend time with an attractive younger daddy he meets by chance one year because of his holiday duties. The pair can only pass affectionate glances when they meet each year until the daddy sends Santa a letter saying, "all I want for Christmas is you," which leads to Santa taking some drastic action. The heartfelt video, entitled "When Harry Met Santa," could easily be expanded to feature-length, putting a 21st-century spin on the 1950s classic "I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus." 'One Direction' alum Harry Styles covers Dazed Magazine and, in the pages within, talks about his new "life brand" company, Pleasing. Calling Pleasing's first offerings a "curated line of products that speak to the celebratory beauty sensibility that Styles is known for," Dazed recounted that the line got started with nail polish, "because," Styles said, "that was kind of the birth of what it was for." "Me seeing a color on a flower or a wallpaper or something and thinking, 'Oh, I wanna put that on my nails'," the singer went on to say. "It was a fun little project, but during the pandemic, and when we eventually named it Pleasing, it felt like it was so much more than nail polish." Fashionista hailed Pleasing as "the only celebrity beauty brand we're actually excited about," noting its "range of nail polishes, an illuminating primer serum and a dual-purpose eye and lip oil." Styles vows that the new brand will be eco-friendly, with "as small of a carbon footprint as possible," Billboard detailed, but it's also something he sees as a thank you to his fans. Lin-Manuel Miranda directs the film adaptation of Jonathan Larson's play "tick, tick... BOOM!," bringing an authenticity to the experience of creating a musical — the fear, the frustration, and the overriding optimism that Miranda (the force behind "Hamilton" and co-creator of "In the Heights") must know well. "tick, tick... BOOM!" tells the story of Larson's struggle to put together a presentation of a science fiction musical he calls "Superbia." Set in a toxic future, it's about how people spend all their time fixed on their "media delivery devices," and patterning their lives after TV programs. (All in all, Larson more or less hit the nail on the head.) The problem is that no one understands what he's going for, and no one thinks the show is going to succeed. Larson (played by British actor Andrew Garfield) swims recreationally, for exercise and to clear his head, but he's swimming upstream when it comes to getting anyone to pay attention to his idea. The movie is well written (by Steven Levenson, based on Larson's play) and competently directed by Miranda, who displays some impressive visual inventiveness. It also often feels, however, like the reverse side of a tapestry or, in more mundane terms, a sort of "Behind the Music" look at Larson's pre-"RENT" life and struggles. The songs underscore the impression; they are uniformly energetic, and there are a couple of gorgeous numbers that break the mold, but most of the setlist feels prototypical of, and cut from the same cloth, as the songs from Larson's bigger, better-known work. If you're still high on Jon M. Chu's movie version of "In the Heights" (and excited for his next musical adaptation, "Wicked"), and chomping at the bit to see what Steven Spielberg is going to do with "West Side Story," this is the perfect movie at the perfect time to keep your feet tapping and your "Broadway by way of Hollywood" buzz going strong. Out country music star T.J. Osborne made history when he sealed his Country Music Award win with a same-sex kiss — a celebratory snog that was seen on the air, Buzzfeed reported. Osborne and his brother, John, won the Vocal Duo of the Year Award at the CMA ceremony, which was broadcast on ABC Nov. 10. It was the fourth win in that category for the Brothers Osborne, CNN noted, and when it was announced, T.J. promptly planted a kiss on his boyfriend, Abi Ventura, as the audience erupted in cheers. John, meantime, "kissed his wife, Lucie Silvas," CNN detailed. "I tell you, every time we have won this award, it has never, ever ceased to be extremely shocking," T.J. Osborne said in his acceptance speech. "It's been a crazy rollercoaster of a year for us in so many ways, especially for me emotionally," Osborne went on to add.
