The world keeps changing a lot, but for women, not so much. If I say this, when I say this, it feels like I’m stating something that everyone knows. Sometimes, it feels like I’m not doing enough for other women, because I keep fighting for the obvious. Because there are so many little things that build up into bigger things, but no one cares to notice the smaller details. I don’t care to notice the smaller details, on some days. The format of a documentary is made with the intent to leave people questioning things. This can happen to a point where we end up following these stories, even after the film has ended. Bad Boy Billionaires: India is one of those recent pieces of work, where the inherent theme of the docu-series makes it ‘current’ even after four years of its release. The Katrina Kaif-Vijay Sethupathi starrer is the latest directorial offering by Sriram Raghavan and is based on the French novel Le Monte-charge (Bird in a Cage). Having made its OTT debut on the 8th of March, this romantic thriller is being watched on Netflix by the cinephiles who missed it earlier in the theaters. Vikas Bahl’s directorial is a supernatural thriller, and a remake of a Gujarati film titled Vash. A sinister individual, played by Madhavan, enters the life of a family and wrecks their happiness. He uses black magic to manipulate their daughter, reducing her to a mere puppet, while tormenting her to obey all his orders, like eating powdered tea, entertaining him, and even hitting his father, played by Ajay Devgn.
