Brownsville’s economy thrives when bold ideas take root and grow. The Startup Texas Accelerator, hosted at the eBridge Center for Business & Commercialization, is your pathway to the knowledge, connections, and resources your startup needs to take the next step. We’re looking for entrepreneurs who: ? Lead innovative companies in sectors such as cybersecurity, digital health, e-commerce, automation, environmental tech, or related industries. ? Have a clear business model and a minimum viable product (MVP) completed or nearly completed. ? Are actively seeking early-stage funding. ? Can commit 4–6 hours per week to program activities. Participants benefit from: ? Expert-led workshops and hands-on learning. ? One-on-one mentorship tailored to your startup's needs. ? Pitch practice sessions to sharpen your message and delivery. ? Networking opportunities with local business leaders, peers, and potential investors. Those who complete the accelerator become eligible for the Advancement Fund, which offers up to $10,000 in reimbursements for qualified business expenses. Applications close August 17, 2025. Get your money right before school starts! Join us for an interactive afternoon where students and parents can learn essential financial skills, just in time for the new school year. Students will receive an activity passport and rotate through hands-on stations covering real-life money topics like budgeting, saving, and spending wisely. Complete the activities and walk away with a free backpack filled with school supplies, swag, and more (while supplies last). This event is recommended for students in grades 6–12, and parents are encouraged to join to pick up valuable tips for building family financial wellness. ? eBridge Center | 1304 E.
