There's a handsome new face on the fifth season of "Elite," the hit Netflix series from Spain that follows three students who attend a top preparatory school attended by the country's elite. The series has developed LGBTQ+ storylines, exploring how different coming out can be from individuals from different social and economic backgrounds. Arriving at the school, La Encina, is Brazilian actor Andrรฉ Lamoglia (@andrelamoglia) who plays Ivรกn, the son of a popular football star with some secrets of his own. "Ivรกn quickly grows close to Patrick (Manu Rios) but, in spite of their chemistry, he insists that he's straight. Meanwhile, he also has a thing for Patrick's sister Ari (Carla Dรญaz)," reported the website Pop Buzz. But after some longing glances in the shower, Ivรกn admits to being attracted to Patrick and they have an intimate scene together that Lamoglia discussed with the Spanish website Hugo Gloss. Before shooting the steamy scene, Lamoglia admitted he was nervous. "It was much more relaxed than I imagined. We have a whole preparation for that. At the time of these scenes, the team is all reduced on the set, at that moment there are only those that need to be there." He added that he didn't remove all his clothes in front of the cameras. "I'll leave it to your imagination! (laughs) Just kidding. It was the first time I had do some kind of scene with a little more intimacy. I didn't do any scenes completely naked, because as much as it was a sex scene, or something more intimate, we had protection, a sex cover. They call it a thong here. Or some sock, something like that. The crew is all set up for that kind of scene, so I felt particularly comfortable when I had do these scenes." He also explained a distinction between himself and the character. "I also feel that, as an actor, I'm a little protected by the character, because Ivรกn is there, not Andrรฉ Lamoglia. So I'm standing there defending the character and what the script asks of me." The Human Rights Campaign (@humanrightscampaign) rolled out a new billboard campaign last week in Tampa, Tallahassee, and Orlando, condemning Florida's "Don't Say Gay" law. As reported by The Hill, a total of seven billboards have gone live that welcome people to Florida "The Sunshine 'Don't Say Gay or Trans' State." HRC said in a news release that more billboards are scheduled to go up in South Florida over the next few days. "Florida's 'Don't Say Gay or Trans' law is outrageous and discriminatory. It needs to be repealed immediately," HRC Interim President Joni Madison said in a statement. "This billboard campaign is designed to make people confront what this terrible law really does: censor and silence educators and isolate LGBTQ+ students and their families." Out country singer Steve Grand (@stevegrandmusic) posted a previously approved pic for his underwear line Grand Axis (@grandaxis) on Twitter and found his account suspended for "adult content." When Grand appeared on a recent cover of DNA Magazine, the 'All American Boy' singer wore revealing swimwear from his Grand Axis clothing line. But when he posted a pic to Twitter this week, his account for Grand Axis was temporarily suspended for violating the social network's "sensitive media policy." Twitter's explanation read, "You may not post media that is excessively gory or share violent or adult content within live video or in profile header, or List banner images." On his own account, Grand slapped back: "This is literally the exact same image I was using when they suspended & then restored my account last time. Wouldn't it be marked they already reviewed it & restored it with this same image?" Grand began his clothing line company in the spring of 2020. Bass told PEOPLE that he's "just so obsessed" with Violet and Alexander, who were born via a surrogate last October, and added that he's now faced with being apart from them after months spent at home during COVID. "[N]ow that Dad's back working, I try to spend as much time as possible home," Bass related. "I'm so lucky, I'm able to work out of my home so I get to spend so much time with them." And when work calls him away? "It sucks to be away from them," Bass said. "I miss them." The 42-year-old *NSYNC alum added, "When you have kids, your perspective completely changes. It was all about you and now it's all about someone else." Bass said that he's gotten good advice about being a dad, People Magazine reported. "Every friend's like, 'Look, enjoy every second because it'll fly by like no other and you'll miss this stage.' I'm already getting teary-eyed because they're already 5 months [old] and I can see that it's just flying by right now." That said, Bass admitted that caring for twin babies has its challenges. However, he added, "We are so lucky that we have a lot of family members coming out because we're all from the South, so if my parents aren't here, then my sister's here, my husband's sister's here, his parents are here." โ
