As the owners of boutique agency @wheresbrentbeen, Brent Wallace and Dan Ingram are practically professional globetrotters. However, it's this 1910 Federation cottage in the charming town of Picton where their hearts really lie.⁠ ⁠ Taken with the property's bullnose verandah, iron lace trim, pot-belly stove and timber-lined rooms, the couple could hardly deny themselves its purchase. "We do feel connected here," Brent says. "We're lucky, because we get to travel. Beaten tin and weatherboard, wooden sash windows and timeworn floors; this Post Office turned accommodation in NSW's Snowy Mountains has the air of perfectly preserved piece of heritage architecture - but it's a little more complicated than that.⁠ ⁠ Resoration-obsessed Sonja and her chef partner Warren were the saviours of what was once an all but blown-away and burned structure - once the Pender Lea post office. "Our whole ethos, from the ground up, is to save beautifully made things, rather than discard them," Sonja says of her love of salvaged objects and recycled materials. Revolution Brewing (@revbrewchicago) and Garrett Popcorn (@garrettpopcorn) have been neighbors under the same roof for nine years, and that has led to the inevitable: a Revolution beer made with Garrett popcorn.⁠ ⁠ When the process began in January, the idea of what to do — brown ale made with Garrett’s renowned CaramelCrisp — came quickly. But how to do it took some time.⁠ ⁠ Revolution added different sorts of popcorn to the brewing process. It considered different ingredients used in Garrett’s caramel corn. It tried sweetening the beer with various caramel flavors. It tinkered with about a dozen trials, but landed in a simple place: including Garrett’s caramel corn in the earliest step of the brewing process and adding a dose of brown sugar — and that’s it. No further caramel flavoring required.⁠ ⁠ The result, also called CaramelCrisp, begins to roll out today, with a broad release across Illinois by Oct. 1. Revolution Brewing (@revbrewchicago) and Garrett Popcorn (@garrettpopcorn) have been neighbors under the same roof for nine years, and that has led to the inevitable: a Revolution beer made with Garrett popcorn.⁠ ⁠ When the process began in January, the idea of what to do — brown ale made with Garrett’s renowned CaramelCrisp — came quickly. But how to do it took some time.⁠ ⁠ Revolution added different sorts of popcorn to the brewing process. It considered different ingredients used in Garrett’s caramel corn. It tried sweetening the beer with various caramel flavors. It tinkered with about a dozen trials, but landed in a simple place: including Garrett’s caramel corn in the earliest step of the brewing process and adding a dose of brown sugar — and that’s it. No further caramel flavoring required.⁠ ⁠ The result, also called CaramelCrisp, begins to roll out today, with a broad release across Illinois by Oct. 1. But the pop star said Monday at the Venice International Film Festival that, with acting, he often feels as if he has "no idea what I'm doing." "I think it's fun to get to play in worlds that aren't necessarily your own. This world that is supposedly so perfect, it's really fun to play pretend in there," Styles said. "There wasn't too much acting." On the parallels between music and acting: "Personally I find them to be kind of opposite in a lot of ways. I think making music is a really personal thing," Styles said. "There's aspects of acting where you're drawing from experiences you've had but for the most part you're pretending to play someone else.
