The news was confirmed Tuesday night by gay adult studio Helix Studios, where Kyle Ross launched and maintained his career since 2011. The company tweeted: "We are heartbroken to confirm that Aaron Cumbey aka @KyleRossXXX has passed away as the result of a solo car accident this past weekend, no foul play is suspected. His family is devastated and asks for privacy during this time. We love you Kyle RIP" After a string of award wins, over 100 scenes, and even a biographical novel (called "Twink") written about him, Ross retired from performing in 2020, and just last month, he announced that he'd retired from his corporate position at Helix. "Ross had been traveling through Florida last week and posted several video tweets showing an argument he had at an American Airlines terminal after a gate agent refused to allow him on board his flight for reasons that were unclear," Str8UpGayPorn reports. Ross appeared distraught in more videos that he posted on Sunday morning, in which he shared that he'd slept in his rental car while awaiting another flight.
