Actor Timothèe Chalamet has landed his next major role: He'll star in a new adaptation of Roald Dahl's "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory," playing the eccentric chocolatier Willy Wonka, Deadline reports. The musical will be directed by Paul King, who helmed the beloved "Paddington" movies, and will focus on a young Wonka "prior to opening the world's most famous chocolate factory," according to Deadline. What's more, the project will also see Chalamet singing and dancing as the film will feature many musical numbers. The Hollywood Reporter reports the project will start shooting in September. Based on the 1964 children's novel, this will be Warner Bros.'s third time making a Wonka film.
